Project: Bar, Lounge and Nightclub design.
A previously Mexican restaurant on the main drag of downtown Pasadena, CA, the new owners of the space requested a current and clean modern vibe to create a lunch and dinner restaurant that would flip instantly to dark, pulsating dance and dj club by night. Hand-screened wallpaper on bar front, custom hand-painted bar top with high gloss car finish, multi-colored light up panels above, made to order pendant lighting, as well as heavy multi-hued paneled curtains to delineate spaces within the large restaurant. At night, when the dining tables and chairs were cleared away, the built-in seating along the walls served well to comfort the weary trance dancers between heavy raving sessions.
